INGREDIENTS
- All purpose flour / Maida - 1 1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
- Melted butter or (Oil) - 1/2 cup (130 grams)
- Eggs - 2
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 cup
- Baking powder - 1 1/2
- Milk - 1/2 cup ( boiled milk )
OTHER INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 tsp butter to grease the pan
- 2 tsp maida to flour the pan
- 2 cups of sand to create a base at the bottom of the pressure cooker
- Grease the cake tray with butter and add some all purpose flour (maida) into the cake tray and cover the entire tray with flour. keep it aside
- In a bowl, add eggs, vanilla essence and beat the eggs well
- into it, add all purpose flour/maida, powdered sugar, baking powder,salt and mix the dough with out lumps
- Add melted butter into it and mix the dough with out lumps
- cake dough is ready
- Take greased and floured tray, pour the cake dough into the cake tray
- Add sand inside the pressure cooker and spread it evenly then preheat the cooker for 5 to 10 minutes on high flame with the sand
- Place the cake tray over the sand and cover the lid of the pressure cooker.
- Don't put on the whistle
- Cook on medium flame for 15 minutes and low flame for 60 minutes
- Switch off the flame
- Take the tray out off the pressure cooker, cool it down
- Finally place the cake in a plate
